MSN2019 EDUCATION GRANTS APPLICATION


MSN offers 40 education grants for Malaysian Society of Neurosciences (MSN) members to attend the MSN2019 conference this year. Each awardee will receive waiver of the main conference registration fees and a complimentary conference dinner (worth RM500 WM/ RM750 EM).

Eligibility:
The applicant must be a current member of MSN.

This grant is open only to postgraduate students, house officers, medical officers, fellows/trainees and allied health professionals studying/working in a university/healthcare institution in Malaysia.

Applicants who have received other source of funding for MSN2019 will not be eligible for this grant. If an applicant received an offer from other sources of funding after the application of this grant, the applicant must write to the secretariat to withdraw from the grant application so that the opportunity can be given to other candidates.

Application:
Applicants must submit an online application through the link provided below together with an updated curriculum vitae (CV) and contact details of two referees, by MONDAY, 15 APRIL 2019, 11.59pm.

Evaluation:
All applications will be evaluated by a special selection committee based on abstract review scores and financial needs. Although Abstract submission is not a pre-requisite for the application of this grant. Applicants who have submitted an abstract will be given a priority for this education grant.

Notification:
Successful applicants will be notified after TUESDAY, 30 APRIL 2019. All applicants are responsible to complete their own conference registration online including payment of registration fees. Applicants are encouraged to register early to enjoy the early bird benefits. Pre-conference workshop registration fees will not be supported by this grant.

Reimbursement:
All successful applicants will receive an award certificate and cash reimbursement during the closing ceremony of MSN2019 on SUNDAY, 7 JULY 2019 at 4.00pm. Attendance to the closing ceremony is compulsory for all awardees, in order to receive the grant reimbursement.
